Statement	While the staff of STWDSTS endeavours to plan efficient routes, students should not spend an undue amount of time aboard a school bus.
Procedure	The staff of STWDSTS shall consider the duration of bus trips when planning bus routes. Whenever possible, the amount of time spent aboard a bus by students shall not exceed: Conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir "CSCM" JK - Gr 6 60 min Gr 7 - Gr 12 75 min Gr 7 and 8 attending an elementary school shall be 60 minutes. Conseil scolaire Viamonde “CSV” JK - Gr 6 60 min Gr 7 - Gr gr 12 75 min Gr 7 and 8 attending an elementary school shall be 60 minutes. Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board “DPCDSB” JK - Gr 6 75 min Gr 7 - Gr 12 75 min Upper Grand District School Board “UGDSB” JK - Gr 6 45 min Gr 7 - Gr 12 60 min Wellington Catholic District School Board “WCDSB” JK - Gr 6 45 min Gr 7 - Gr 12 60 min
Procedure	STWDSTS will to the best of its ability follow the timelines set out above. The length of bus trips is calculated based on “normal” traffic conditions and does not take into account any nomalies due to external factors such as traffic and inclement weather.The length of the bus trip applies to students residing and attending their home boundary school Transported students who reside outside of their home boundary school may require a longer bus trip.
